2.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam)
• Operating email lists without proper consent
• Harvesting email addresses without permission
• Using purchased email lists
• Spoofing email headers or forging sender information

2.3 Network Abuse

You must not engage in activities that harm our network or other users:

• Port scanning or security probing
• Denial of Service (DoS) or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
• Attempting to breach security measures
• Interfering with other users' services
• Excessive bandwidth consumption without authorization

2.4 Resource Abuse

Shared hosting accounts must not:

• Use excessive CPU, memory, or disk I/O resources
• Run cryptocurrency mining operations
• Operate file-sharing or torrent sites
• Host proxy servers or VPN services (on shared hosting)
• Run scripts that consume excessive server resources

2.5 Content Restrictions

The following types of content are prohibited on shared hosting:

• Adult content (pornography, escort services)
• Hate speech or discriminatory content
• Content promoting violence or terrorism
• Counterfeit goods or knock-off merchandise
• Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing scams
• Sites designed to mislead or deceive visitors

3. Email Policy

3.1 Email Limits

Shared hosting accounts have the following email limits:

• Maximum 500 emails per hour per account
• Maximum 50 recipients per email message
• Email attachments limited to 20MB

3.2 Email Content

All emails must:

• Include accurate sender information
• Provide clear unsubscribe mechanisms
• Comply with CAN-SPAM Act and similar regulations
• Have prior consent from recipients (for marketing emails)

4. Security Requirements

4.1 Software Updates

You must:

• Keep all software and scripts updated
• Remove unused or outdated applications
• Use strong, unique passwords
• Enable available security features

4.2 Compromised Accounts

If your account is compromised, you must:

• Notify us immediately
• Change all passwords
• Investigate and remediate the security breach
• Cooperate with our security team

5. Backup Responsibilities

While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend:

• Regular offsite backups of all data
• Testing backup restoration procedures
• Backing up before making major changes

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

You must:

• Respect intellectual property rights
• Obtain necessary licenses for software and content
• Respond promptly to DMCA takedown notices
• Remove infringing content when notified

7. Monitoring and Enforcement

7.1 Our Rights

• Monitor resource usage and network activity
• Investigate suspected policy violations

• Suspend services immediately for serious violations

7.2 Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity, violations may result in:

• Required upgrade to higher service tier
• Permanent service termination
• Legal action if warranted

8. VPS and Dedicated Server Policies

VPS and dedicated server customers have greater flexibility but must still:

• Comply with all applicable laws
• Not engage in network abuse
• Maintain server security
• Not interfere with other users
• Respond to abuse complaints within 24 hours
