Domain Management Guide

Your customer portal provides comprehensive tools for managing all your domain names in one place.

Viewing Your Domains

To view your domains:

1. Click "Domains" in the navigation menu
2. You'll see a list of all your registered domains
3. Click on any domain to expand and see full details

Domain Information

For each domain, you can view:

• Domain Name: Your registered domain
• Status: Active, Expired, Pending, etc.
• Registration Date: When the domain was registered
• Expiry Date: When the domain expires
• Renewal Fee: Cost to renew the domain
• Nameservers: Current DNS nameservers
• Lock Status: Whether the domain is locked

Updating Nameservers

To update your domain nameservers:

1. Go to the Domains page
2. Click on the domain you want to update
3. Find the "Nameservers" section
4. Click "Update Nameservers" or "Edit"
5. Enter your new nameservers (e.g., ns1.example.com, ns2.example.com)
6. Click "Save Nameservers"
7. Changes may take 24-48 hours to propagate

Requesting EPP Code (Auth Code)

An EPP code is needed to transfer your domain to another registrar:

1. Go to the Domains page
2. Click on the domain you want to transfer
3. Click "Show EPP Code" or "Get Auth Code"
4. You'll receive a message that the code will be emailed to you
5. Our support team will send the EPP code to your registered email
6. Use this code when initiating the transfer with your new registrar

Domain Lock Status

Domain locking helps protect your domain:

• Locked: Domain cannot be transferred (recommended for security)
• Unlocked: Domain can be transferred (required for transfers)
• Unlock your domain only when you're ready to transfer it
• Lock it again after the transfer is complete

Domain Statuses

• Understanding domain statuses:
• Active: Domain is registered and active
• Expired: Domain registration has expired
• Pending: Domain registration is being processed
• Transferred: Domain has been transferred to another registrar

Renewing Your Domain

• To renew your domain:
• Check the expiry date on your domain
• Renew before the expiry date to avoid losing your domain
• You'll receive renewal reminders via email
• Contact support if you need assistance with renewal

Searching Domains

• Use the search function to quickly find domains:
• Enter part of the domain name in the search box
• Filter by status if needed
• Results update in real-time as you type

Important Notes

• Keep your domain contact information up to date
• Renew domains before they expire
• Domain transfers can take 5-7 days to complete
• Nameserver changes may take 24-48 hours to propagate
